Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable  (HHA) to provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes. The HHA will assist with daily living activities, ensure the client’s comfort, and promote their independence while following the care plan established by healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).

  • Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding when necessary.

  • Remind clients to take medications as directed.

  • Provide mobility support (walking, transferring, positioning).

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, making beds, cleaning).

  • Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical or emotional condition.

  • Offer companionship and emotional support.

  • Follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals.

  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and healthcare staff.

  • Basic caregiving skills (personal care, hygiene assistance).

  • Physical stamina to assist with lifting, moving, or supporting clients.

  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

  • HHA Certification (required in most states).

  • Prior experience in caregiving, nursing home, or home care (preferred but not always required).
